Easy Coconut Rice Recipe
Cocunut rice is incredibly simple to prepare and it could provide a healthy boost of nutrients and delicacy as well.
Cooked rice 500g
Mustard seeds 5g
Cumin seeds 5g
Black grams 10g
Cashew nuts 50g
Curry leaves 5 g
Green chillies 10g
Grated coconut 100g
Coconut milk 100 ml
Coriander leaves 10g
Lemon juice 10ml
1- Chop coriander leaves and green chillies.
2- Heat oil in a heavy saucepan or a wok and add the mustard seeds
3- When they crackle, add the cumin seeds.
4- Add the black grams and when golden in colour, add the cashew nuts and saute till golden.
5- Add all the ingredients except rice and stir on a high flame for 2 minutes.
6- Mix in the rice and stir for another 5 minutes on a slow flame.
