Ingredients
Potatoes, small size 750g
Oil for frying
Red chillie powder 50g
Asafoetida . . . . . 5g
Cardamom powder 30g
Curd . . . . . . . . . . 150g
Fennel powder . . . . 50g
Dry ginger powder . 25g
Salt
Vegetable oil . . . . . 50ml
Preparation:
Time:40 mins
Boil potatoes and pierce them with a tootpick or fork.
Than whip the curd.
Heat ghee, add asafoetida, mix in the curd and stir throughly.
Add rest of the ingredients and saute for 2 mins.
Sprinkle a little water while sauteeing the ingredients.
Cook for 5 mins and add 250ml of water.
Add the fried potatoes and cook until gravy is thick.
Note: Use baby potatoes or spring potatoes for this recipe.
